Intelligence Check is an actual play series that's big on the laughs. It's a light-hearted show, using D&D 5e rules, set in the homebrew world of the Lichstone Empire. We've got dark and mysterious backgrounds, defensive elephants, weird gambling, oddly specific kobold slaughter, and tentacles. Way too many tentacles.

With screams echoing throughout the town, our adventurers rush to see what has so many dwarves running for their lives. It's zombies. Let's be clear, there's basically one thing that happens this episode. They fight the zombies. Sure, Tor does some cleric stuff. And of course some bad puns are tossed about. But really, it all leads back to fighting zombies. Which is totally awesome! About time we get some zombies in here!
We here in the episode description department would love to glamorize it and say there's compelling character development and thought-provoking dialogue. But at one point Blag punches through a zombie's head. Which, to be clear, is so badass!
It's a zombie fighting episode. And fighting zombies is rad as hell! So strap on your chainsaw prosthetic hand and get ready to shred some walkers!

With the party divided, Kort, Blag and Rath find themselves back at the Red Halls. Rath barely fights off a panic attack when they come across a large gathering of Onyx Shields. Our adventurers learn of a perverse mystery that they will probably fail to solve. And, even more terrifying than the ghoulish crime, there are politics afoot!
What will Blag do that could land him in an early grave? Will the party be reunited? Just how many houses does Tor own? Will there be a startling lack of concern for orphans? And why is everyone checking their pockets?

So Tor got squished. He was completely stomped on. Is that insensitive to say? It is what happened after all. His tiny dwarf body found itself between a floor and a large stomping foot. He was stepped upon with murderous intent. It sure seems like he got squished out of existence. These are just the facts people. Either way, the rest of the party doesn't seem too concerned about it. Moving on with their day, they decide to complete their exploration of the tower.
The party encounters a series of character interactions that Rath is more than happy to just relax and observe. Kyle puts a very strong emphasis on the word fate. And then they are just terrible at rescuing the prisoners.
So why did Tor's body do more of a poof than a splat? Did he leave a forwarding address for his mail? Should the rest of the party go for brunch? What's the reason the adventurers (minus Tor, he squished) are on this island? Are there even good brunch options there? Doesn't seem to be much of a restaurant scene. Where will the party venture next? If only there were another ominous message to guide them on their way!
